Yes, but not directly. You first have to purchase the vst->rtas adapter from FXPansion.

I use the adapter with GREAT success. There are many good free plugins for it also....

No latency problems with me (UAD-1 wich generate 2x the initial sample latency set in protools 64 for protools + 64 for UAD-1)

No, it doesn't report correctly...it doesn't report at all. You can calculate it yourself though. Many of the free vst's do not have any documentation on their delay..but most of the good ones do.

I think the VST is for mac and DirectX for PC. So the answer is no. You can try a DX to VST wrapper and wrap that, but gets pretty unstable in my experience. Some plug-ins don't even work. Not surprising I guess after wrapping it twice. I've used this FFX-4 vb-audio demo/freeware and I think I remember getting the sonic maximer to work. I also got some of the Sony/Sonic Foundry ones from Cd architect and Acid to work. Real buggy though. I've since uninstalled it cause it seemed unstable.

fRyan,

I've had no trouble using the BBE Sonic Maximizer plug-in when used with the VST/RTAS wrapper.
