Please Advise

Hello guys,

I am looking forward to buy either digi 001 or the
new motu 2408 mk3. I would like to know if guys don't mind which one would best suit me. Will the result be the same on both of these sound cards.

My set up is:
PVI IBM compatible, 1GB of RAM, dual IDE, Proteus 2000 sound module, Yamaha 01v mixer.

Software: Acid pro 4.0, Sound Forge 5.0, CD Architect, and Sonar.

Will I be able to use the Sonic Foundry software with the 001 if this will be the choice.

Any kind of advice is appreciated.

The problem is that there's no one that can really tell you what's best for you, except to use the stuff and decide yourself. Tough, I know. Obviously, all of us here love PT. At MOTU, they'll love Digital Performer. Personally I like both software, but prefer Digi I/O. What software does MOTU use on the PC? Digital Performer is 'Mac only' I believe.
