Won't loop tiny selections (less than 1second)
I want to loop very small selections to gage results when micro editing.
Protools 9 will not let me loop selections shorter than >1sec. A clap is approx 300ms. I am looking to get down much smaller than this. Considering new and more powerful software if this is not possible. DOES ANYONE KNOW WHY THIS IS NOT POSSIBLE? I HAVE TRIED INCREASING BUFFER SIZE TO LARGEST SETTING. (and yes loop settings are enabled) Merci! |

Re: Won't loop tiny selections (less than 1second)
Actually, the limit is 500 ms, but you're right, it's too short for a number of critical applications such as sfx editing and noise profile capture. You can vote for a change to this feature here. I don't know why, but that restriction has been part of Pro Tools for as long as I can remember. Probably always.
