Vocal Rider
I picked up Waves Vocal Rider tonight and futzed with it for a couple of hours.
It's certainly no magic bullet for levelling out vocals, but my initial impression is that it's another useful tool to add to the toolkit. My thought is that it'll at least allow me to use lighter comp settings and write less automation. But as always, you need to personally tend to the vocal track to make sure it's OK! I also picked up a new comp plugin and new monitors. I'll comment about them in separate threads so I can work to my 1K post goal! Oh and...GRATZ AGAIN KEEEY!
