Default macOS Dual monitors not keeping configuration

I don't know if this has been addressed, but lately PT20 does not start up the way I quit it. The edit window in one monitor, and the mix window in the 2nd monitor. This just started happening lately. I don't know if it's due to Mojave, or PT20.5
Is there a workaround for this?

Never mind, I found the solution in another post, by Googling the question.

I am having a similar problem, not sure if exact, but similar. Would you please share a link to your solution.

Sadly, a very common thing on forums; people post: I've solved it, nevermind. Forgetting that half the point is to share the solutions.

I think PT is very lacking in this window management department, but one thing that often comes up as a workaround is to not use full-screen on the PT windows, but to just resize them to fit the display. IHTH.

I had the same problem and this is what fixed it: Resize the edit and mix windows to be slightly smaller than your monitors background. You need to be able to see a small outline of your desktop background around the ProTools edit and mix windows.

Or make it quite a bit smaller, then Option-Click the green button at the top left of the window. It should reopen to that same size - works for me at least.

It what ?, when you hold option and then click the green button it puts it into full size, not full screen mode. When you just click the green button , without first holding down option , it will then put them into full screen mode , At least that is how it works on my system ..

.
Again Either size manually smaller than full l size, or as cwsand mentioned "Option" then click the green button
