Erasing my Mac and starting again - is the ProTools "upgrade" disk the full program?

Hey Guys,

I have had some issues with my Mac and will be replacing the hard drive completely and building everything from scratch.

It currently has ProTools LE loaded onto it, but I've bought the upgrade disks for Protools LE 8.

Once I've installed the new hard drive, will I need to install ProTools 7 again from the disks (which I'm not sure I still have!), or do the ProTools 8 upgrade disks have everything that's needed?

If I don't still have the serial number from ProTools 7, does anyone know if this is available from the my digidesign site?

V8 installers are full installers. Don't install 7 at all..

Since you have the DVD for PT8, the 8.0.3 updater should be all you need to use to get to 8.0.3...

In my case, I only had the D/L PT8 installer, so I had to D/L the 8.0.3 "full installer" from My Digi (or My Avid or whatever the hell it isw now..)
