Anyone that knows for sure can't say publicly. Everyone else would be guessing, speculating, or breaking an NDA.

How would you know what's accurate?

ahh, I love to see new HDX cards supported by all 3rd party devs, priced at $1999.

How's that?

HDX cards are becoming old so new cards are a possibility... now that they have good momentum on MTRX

I want a stripped down MTRX 16x16 analog. ~$500. Bundled with Pro Tools First.

You forgot the smilie face!!!

I was hoping the Vintage King trade in was gonna be better (for a HDX card)

It sounded good but the fine print made it worthless

I’ll take that MTRX deal too, while I’m at it !!!

I agree to all 3 quotes ,

and also an "Optimized" hardware controller would be welcome ,with :
*- 16 encoder pots with light position point ,
and automatic or assignable multi color led light option on each pot encoders corresponding with same color to the "circled" v-inst or fx parameter on the screen,
that we are editing ,
for a better and fast Human control on v-instruments and plug ins fxs, parameters ,

(like in the latest Akai mpc and master keyboards series)
in this way no expensive little oled dispay is required,
and better unit price as well,

*- of course some dedicated switch for most used functions,

*- a couple of motorized faders
(1 for master and 1 for active "edit" channel control )

*- 2 digital control room option in the master section of pro tools software
(1 for small and 1 for big speakers)
where select and set the dedicated interface outputs ,
controlled by dedicated soft fader in the software ,
and by 2 pot encoders on the control surface
with "mute" and "dim" option switches.
and pre-post plug ins insert.

something like a "reduced" digi 003 desk surface
for better positioning-integration between the other tools over the daw desk ,

no analog audio in-out circuits fot better price of the controller,
or available as expansion , or "XL" version.

…too many much ? 8-I

ps:
i have some preliminary drawn about,
it would be Avid interested for a development about ?

How many decades do we have to keep asking for the same thing, I wonder?

How about an HDX card inside a 1U rack mount unit with 8 mic pres and 2x2 ADAT I/O and 10 outputs, all running on a TB3 connection. With a Dante network port and a Eucon port to connect a control surface and 2 mini Digilink ports for expansion with other HD I/O units. Heck, I'd even take it in a 2U rack unit.
