Ok I thought I would answer my own question as nobody responded - thanks!
I was able to get the answer from a professional producer (one of the top in his country who is a good friend). Basically plugins on the master introduce delay so dont do it, i am sure many of you are aware but I couldnt find anything about it as if you look up delay on google you get a lot about ADC. So hopefully if anyone finds this it might help. |

Not to mention, the Master inserts are post fader.
If you put a dynamics plugin on the master, it will behave differently depending on the fader. Read the section about how the master works in Pro Tools. It will save you a lot of grief.
