Default Articulation with drum tracks in midi editor

How do I change the articulation.
I use the crash on drums
it doesn't do full crash but the stick hits the center of the crash

How do I tell that note to use the edge crash? not just the Crash

right click to what?

velocity has anything to do with it?
cant figure it out

Did protool 11 fix this issue?
using bdf2
