can't hear click track

Hi I'm a new user of protools having just bought a second hand mbox and upgraded the software to 6.9.2 to run on my g4 powerbook with mac os.10.4.1
I have managed to record and playback a short guitar track and thought I'd try to add a click track. I followed the instructions as per the Getting started with mbox pdf, the digirack plug-ins guide and the pro tools reference guide. when I play my recording I can hear my guitar track and see the click track volume indicator in the edit window going up and down, but there's no click sound coming out of my headphones, the same thing hapens when I try to record, I can get it to do the countoff thing and everything but no click sound. I've tried adjusting the volume of the Accented and Unaccented beats, playing the click track as a solo track and changing the click sound to cowbell etc. but still no clicking!
What am I doing wrong?

hi dude,
if you inserted the click in a aux track,
check the volume, aux tracks are defaulted to inf. or no volume,
if not doubleclick the click symbol in the transport window,
check the settings.
