Default Is Anybody Using The Waves SSL or API plugs on the Venue?

Is anybody using any of the plugins from the Waves Studio Classics collection? These include their API, SSL, and "V" plugs.

Hey Dave,

I don't know that those plugs are compatible on Venue. Right now only the Live Bundle works for sure and according to both Sheldon (at least I think it was Sheldon, could have been Lee, too many trade shows, too many people) and Waves, they had to build a special shell for the Waves plugs to work at all. Initially the Waves shell completely took over the system and no other plugs would at all if they weren't part of the Waves package. Vada and I have a meeting at Digi tomorrow, and I could ask Sheldon then.

Hey Dave,

This was discussed in a previous thread. Long story short: only the Waves Live bundle is fully compatible and tested with VENUE. A few folks have tried to install other Waves bundles which have not been optimized for VENUE and encountered significant problems - so definitely avoid doing this.

That's why I was asking. I was wondering if anything had changed. I didn't know if they would work with the Live bundle shell or not. Oh, well...
