It seems to be a risky process, so I'd suggest you back up everything before upgrading so if it doesn't work for you you have the option of restoring back to a compatible state.

Hey I have been looking EVERYWHERE (..on the internet) for an answer like this. I'm running LE 8.0.5 with mavericks and my midi has disappeared.. PLEASE tell me what you did to re-install drivers and get it working again!!!!?? Was it from the original PT8 disc??
Would be greatly appreciated as i can't fork out for 11 right now, THANKS!!
