So this still isn't solved? I've also recently purchased an Mbox 3 Pro, and have been having all the headphone outs\random massive static bursts through both headphones and monitors problems.

No solution after more than a year? AND unable to provide any information on the topic? This all seems like a joke. No information anywhere regarding anything that even hints of an acknowledgement from Avid, aside from this thread.

Has anybody actually gotten anywhere\any information through using the avid support code? Seems unfair to have to waste the only free code for a problem for which a fix should well and truly be publicly available, or at least information regarding a recall or something.

Absolutely disgraceful and disheartening behaviour from a company that is supposed to be one of the leaders in audio technology.

Thank god I found this thread.

This kind of response from the company gives A LOT to think about AVID technical support and professionalism; come on, nearly 15 pages of people complaining, waiting for answers and asking for a solution to this issue, and Avid comes with this kind of answer!!! That's an insult to all your clients...

I almost clicked 'Confirm Purchase' on my favorite e-store, good luck I didn't, I guess I'll save some more money and INVEST on a RME Fireface 400...

it says on the avid site "Fixed loss of headphone output".
i haven't really checked to see if the problem is still there or not.

I just purchased MBox Pro and had headphone failure, mono button, and volume knob problems.

I just put the 1.0.16 driver update (Mac Lion). It fixed the volume knob and mono button, however, still nothing coming out of either headphone outputs.

I called in customer service technical support and waiting on hold for an hour then was told they would call me back.

I got my fingers crossed.

I will share my input as soon as I here back.

installing the latest driver didn't fix it?

you know they just released it, and it supposedly fixes the headphone problem.
