Default Re: The ole 9173 error stronger than ever on PT 12.5

Running 12.5 with Win 7 Ultimate. Internet connected, App Manager running, and Cloud Colab. No problems here at all. The same went for 12.4. So the problems you are having may be elsewhere in your system.

9173 is a CPU buffer under-run error.

After a bit of successful running last night this morning I'm back to 9173 errors again, even with cloud services turned off. Reinstalled my 12.4 disk image and sweet as a nut, baffles me !

9173 Here too up the gump stump even when audio interface buffer is maxed to 2048. App manager disabled, cloud collab disabled AND/OR uninstalled from Programs n Features.
Confirmed optimizations remain set as they should be, everything updated to latest drivers also confirmed. Waves, UAD, Flux, Fab Filter, Sonnox, Spectrasonics etc. all banished to unused folder. Perfs deleted. Eucon not activated.
Was not having this problem with 12.4

CPU usage window shows typical usage at 4% with periodic spikes to 12% and memory topping out at about 4%

What to look for next?

Would roll back to 12.4 but didn't make disc image and it no longer lives as a downloadable link in my products page at Avid.

My system:
i7-4770K CPU @ 3.5GHZ Gigabyte MOBO EX58-UD3R
32GB RAM
64bit Windows 8.1
OS and Recording Drives are Samsung SSD 840 EVO 500GB
Two storage drives Seagate 2TB 7200rpm
One storage drive Western Digital 1TB 10000rpm
Audio interface is UAD apollo 16 firewire.... have the right pci card n driver
There's a UAD quad core pci card too.
Graphics card is Nvidia GTX 770

Tried clean install today. As I type this, I have a project open.... sitting idle.... as in no transport engaged. I'm watching the system usage meter. The total meter is hovering at 3% and then jumps up and spikes to 100% while none of the core meters move. With this session in its current state and sitting idle the Activity for Disk is 0% and Memory is 5%. And it gives a 9173 error.

I was working on adding an audio track and trying to rehearse a 16 bar chord change..... It'll loop on average twice before I throws a 9173 error

AND

Please someone... tell me exactly how it is that I incur a memory error with the system sitting idle? or for that matter when the activity meter shows 95% of the 32Gb of memory remains available? Did you guys accidentally dip into the windows XP 32bit code bucket or something? If not... what the heck did you put in this thing that makes my computer think its got access to less than 4Gb of memory and only has one core to play with???? Even better would be a suggestion as to what to tweak on any control panel or setting to make everything play nice again. Yeah, I'm a little honked off right about now.

A suggestion if you haven't tried it. Close PT and open Task Manager and see what is going on with your system. Under the Performance tab open the Resource Monitor. You might find an indication of the problem here.

Hey guys, the last couple of days PT was informing that can't load sonnox inflator cause it seems to be corrupted, indicating that i have to uninstale and re instaled it again.I did so,and now i'm working through 4 hours and 9173 don't show up,and with full mixes with buffer of 256 samples.Since i allways use inflator plugin in every mix maybe we have something here.Let's see how it will works through the day.

I also had my cloud projects' local cache corrupted few days ago, and I had Sonnox Inflator activated, but it's a one time thing as far as myself is concerned. Trashing local cache fixed the problem.

i'm not suggesting that sonnox plug is the root of the problem but those 9173 may be related to plugins compatibility. The infamous error aee 6 on my sistem is caused by plugin allience clean sweep.Whem i came from an old PT 10 session PT 12 crash AEE 6 appears and stay there until i remove all those plugins, then close the program and open it again.
