Default Mac Book Pro i7 Core Proc, 10.6.3 Op sys 8.04 Pro tools huge Probelm

Pro tools just came out with this new integration and it keeps crashing the application with a "Can not identify keyboard" warning dialog box. In the process I lost most of the connections between my Axiom and the MAC. Any one else have problems like this? Or know what to do?
