Keyboard Control Of Transport

This is undoubtedly simpleminded as it gets: Until last night, my transport would arm record at the transport for immediate initiation of record upon hitting spacebar. This required keystrokes option+apple+spacebar (and record-enabling a track).

Somehow I've turned this shortcut off. What would you guess I did wrong?

As a related question, is there a shortcut for pre/post roll on/off?

Thanks Chris. The setting of this preference appears to make no difference in the arming of record at the transport. Any clues?
