Play Video Through FW Port
Any one have an idea why my "Play Video Through FW port" would be greyed out and unavailable. I use a Dazzle Hollywood DV Bridge and it have worked in the past with my 002. I use it to import and digitize video (into iMovie). I'm assuming my problem lies in my Dual 2.3 G5 w/ Tiger upgrade. But hopefully, there is a fix for it.

Re: Play Video Through FW Port
Play Video Through FW Port greys itself out if the video file is not converted to DV format. So download quicktime pro, or use final cut if you have it, and convert whatever quicktime you need to DV format. I don't know if you can do that with iMovie, but I use quicktime.
Beware, I've had huge latency problems with video feed from a PT session into a deck or external monitor. Perhaps my CPU is too slow, but if anybody has 2 cents on that issue, fill me in. |
