ICON D-Command
Can the ICON D-Command interface work through a network connection? Does it have to have an isolated ethernet connection to the CPU?

Re: ICON D-Command
There's a seperate forum for Digi control surfaces, but...
We have several rooms with 24 fader Pro Control's, all on the same network. I can see the other room's controllers in the peripherals setup window. (In fact, we had to make sure each room had its controllers labeled as such to avoid confusion). So I don't know why a D-Command would be any different. The bandwidth of controller information is not very demanding, so it should work. But I have not tried networking a D-Cammand. Bob

Re: ICON D-Command
you don't need to isolate them but I have at work.
We have 2 D-Commands and 1 ProControl and was getting some confusion and conflicts. most interesting problem was putting 1 D-Command into Vegas mode put both into Vegas mode.
