Future of AudioVision
Are there future plans for upgrading the AudioVision software? It seems as though this software hasn't been significantly upgraded in over a year and a half, is it on its way out? Thanks.

Re: Future of AudioVision
The folks from Spin Cycle Post, a large Avid and AudioVision house have been told by their Avid rep that AudioVision will not be further upgraded and instead its capabilities will become a sort of "add on" for ProTools. They are looking into migrating to ProTools systems.

Re: Future of AudioVision
I replied to another string here in the AudioVision section regarding this very topic, please take a look at that reply for more details.
AudioVision version 4.1 will be released in the very near future (next several weeks) and will be mass mailed to all registered AudioVision owners and will be available here on the Digidesign web site as soon as testing is completed. |
