Default Computer won't see Digi 003 with Snow Leopard?

My mac can't seem to see my Digi 003 in the system preferences now that i've upgraded to Snow Leopard.
if i open a PT8 or DP6 session there is sound but i can't get any sound out of any thing else. As i said it doesn't even appear to exist in the System Prefs>Sound> out put section It's simply not there. i've got latest update.
i know that Digital Performer (which i mostly use with the Digi 003) is Snow Leopard ready but when upgrading i didn't think about the Digi. i thought it would work.
What to do?

Anyone?
thanks in advance.

SL has been out for what 2 weeks?

You could very well have a month or more to go..

If you need to work in PT you should revert to 10.5....

Pro Tools systems are rock solid on 10.5.xxxx, so I rather think that digi should not hurry to qualify snowleo. Rather test it throughout, and release a good update!

Start the CoreAudio Manager / Driver for 003, this works with most programs.

well, I am noticing that the computer does not recognize my audio interface (digi 003). I am on a Mac. If I go to system preferences, it's just not even listed.

Now, if I open a program like say, PEAK, the core audio driver launches and the DIGI 003 goes into working mode.

But if I want to watch movies or use Quicktime...no go.

Definitely frustrating. I just installed SL today, so I still have some testing to do with other programs.
