Default does it live?

I see that sweetwater has SDII in their online catalog. ($430) Is this program still
supported by DIGI? If I bought it would I end up like the AMIII users who can only use it with 1998 and older OS?

I use SDII everyday with two g4s, running 9.04. I bet it will run on 9.1 as well.

I'm basically asking should I pay $430. for this program now or is DIGI going to bundle it with PTFree in the next couple of months?

SDII is a dead product. Digi will not release it for free or support it anymore. They claim that due to the programming environment they used it cannot be upgraded anymore without a complete rewrite in another environment.

Unless you have older hardware that will support it already, and have a really good reason to get it, don't bother with it.

I would love to know how to run SDII 2.82
on my Powerbook G3. This would save my life.
Also need to know how to run the Waves multidrack bundle inside SDII once I can get it to run on the G3 for Mastering purposes.
Please help!!
