If you ever add a 3rd screen, you'll have lots of reasons

If you guys were on Mac this had probably worked so is there a similar setting in Windows PC OS?

The macOS preference treats each screen as its own desktop.

Uncheck "Displays have separate spaces" in System Preferences /Mission Control then log out and log back in.

This works great on macOS. Hopefully it is the same in windows

I'm not aware of any Windows equivalent. But this makes me wonder of some folk's issues might be due to different screen resolutions(mine all run the same 1920x10280, even though 2 are 27" monitors and the 3rd is a 43" LED TV)

I don't see that in the Windows version. Must be a Mac thing.

Same here. Edit in the middle 43", mix to the right 24", and other/misc to left 24". I always end with with all sorts of stuff on the 3rd one!!!

I am just running two but i have a couple of spare displays i could use for three so if one of youse guys running three can tell me how you are connecting all to your PC? I have a nvidia card with one screen plugged into the HD out and the other to the serial output. Can i just hook the third to the serial output from the motherboard? And will it auto locate the third display?

Best to either add a second graphics card(same brand as first) or use a card that supports 3(or 4) screens. GeForce GTX 750 Ti is what I use these days. You can use adapters on any of the ports to suit your screens(HDMI-HDMI, DVI-HDMI and Displayport.HDMI here). Warning about the Displayport. It CAN support 2 screens, but(for me anyway), I could only get it to work for side by side screens(I needed over and under here).

Actually, I run 3 graphics cards. I have two additional monitors at the MIDI station duplicating the two main (Edit and Mix) monitors over the console. A third monitor to the left of the console is for the floating stuff.
