Apparently you are too dense to understand what people are saying. Here is your original post with plain answers. I hope its clear now.....

can you record with plug ins on the track, and no latency in pro tools TDM and pro tools HD.The answer is YES AND NO as it depends entirely on which plugins(since many have none, while others have little or lots). here is my problem i like to monitor with plug ins on the track but havent been able to without latency in PT le. Pick different plugins that have little or no latency. My current setup is a G5 and an 002 rack. So im thinking of trying to find an old mix plus system for tracking. Will I still have latency when tracking with plug ins?? or will i be a happy camper?? also has anyone recorded with auto tune on the track live without problems? please dont flame on me for wanting to sing with auto tune live thanks. also does any one know of any host based programs where i could use plug ins while recording without latency? thanks for any help Maybe you need to learn how to use what you have. With LE, you can record with plugins at the 64 buffer setting, If you hear latency then, it is because the plugins you are using have latency. You cannot eliminate latency caused by any plugin without REMOVING the offending plugin. I just tried running AutoTune(ver. 3) on a vocal track while singing and it was fine. Is this clear?

I'm a gospel/rap/hiphop artist.

Took a couple/few years out of touring and whatnot to handle the family (I'm a single dad) and really getting the studio going (Pic on website is old spot... way nicer now, pics soon)

I've toured like crazy... mostly 04-05.... Lifelight, Godstock, etc, Souled Out, Mainstages, etc....

So I could definitely thro some fire at ya :)

Anyway... that's a bit off topic....

albee were u dropped on ur head or r u retarded or both? u took all that time to answer my post line by line with ur answers in blue no less but ur to dumb to understand im not asking about LE systems or rtas plugins. i cant record with any plugins on any LE system 64 is to much buffer. i record with low latency monitoring. u cant do that with plug ins on the track in LE so u can take ur stupidness elsewhere thanks

Neither would be true. And if you knew anything about LE, you would know that several things work the same. I also work on an HD system half of the time. What I said was accurate and I will take the high road here and wish you well
