Re: FCB1010

_way_ too gigantic for my tastes. About 8-9" too wide That's why I haven't purchased one. Behringer is cheap, true, but it is cheap.

Re: Late October

Geesh guys. WTH is going on?

I'm all for the extra width if that means that the pedals aren't too close together so's I don't inadvertently step on two of them at once at the worst possible time.

Also cheap means I'm less tearful if I smash it and have to replace it (The Who theory or performance economics). Also, the FCB isn't as "cheap" as I thought it was going to be. "Inexpensive" is the better vocabulary.

I know Behringer might not have the best reputation for build quality and electronics but the FCB1010 is only sending midi... thats it. theres not much to go wrong. It's also machined out of a solid block of Titanium.. lol just kidding, but it is quite sturdy, and has a metal chassis.

You guys are right. I should point out that my bias against Behringer is based on their other products and not the FCB1010. I actually have no idea what the quality of the FCB1010 is.

Because the IRIG does not work on the Ipod Touch 4 GEN I searched the internet. Guess what there is, I Think, a better solution for my new Ipod Touch. It is called the PEAVEY AMPKIT LINK. Looks more impressing then the IRIG.

Update: 27-9-2010
IK multimedia solved the issues with the Ipod Touch 4 GEN.

Interview with Enrico Iori, CEO of IK Multimedia:
In the pro-audio market our next release is StealthBoard, right after the end of this summer, our USB/MIDI hardware floor controller for AmpliTube and any other MIDI controllable studio or stage software and hardware.

THE SUMMER HAS ENDED. But no news...

From Facebook

We're getting closer and closer. First units will go out from production in December and we look forward to ship it in January. The good news is that there will be some unexpected news in terms of software equipment that comes with it and some extra features surprise.

1st confirmation that it will be Januari!
