Default PT9 and 002 ?

Searched around and could not figure out if PT9 works with 002 hardware?

PT9 is such a MONUMENTAL step in the right direction. Avid just gave me a huge boost in confidence in their direction.

According to other threads and quotes of documentation from other posters, yes it works.

I think i will stay with PT 8.0.3 as long as the digi 002 hardware is still in working condition, i can not see any reason why to switch to PT 9
I would only switch to PT 9 to get the advantage of 32 Hardware I/O wich will probybly not supported by digi Hardware anyway
They do know that nobody wants to buy the Digi 003 Hardware, this way they try to get the asio 2.0 hardware customer

as i sayed, at the end of the day PT 8 is also working nice

I dont think there will be another Digi 004 comming out, i guess it is the end. From now on there is only PT9 wich will still support the old Digi Hardware.

I am just a little pissed because i just buy the Digi Hardware. if i would have known this before, i would have buy my favorite Interface and cascade them.
Now i have digi Hardware wich i can not cascade and expensive PT... i am for sure not buying any new crap as long as the current systems works
I want to make music and not spend all live long configuring the optimum studio configuration, because this gets to expensive after a period of time...

They have now piss all the Digi Hardware Users on the Head, because the new PT9 will give great advantage to all users with thrd party Asio Interface,
but for the Digi Hardware Users the same limitations are still there.

actually i wouldnt even have buy PT at all, if i wold have known about PT 9 before

Even tough, i just buy the mellowmuse auto time adjuster plugin... so... i am realy not very happy about PT 9

It works fine and is fully supported.

Just make sure you install the Digi 002/003 drivers for Pro Tools 9.
