Well, how about that. Finally a reaction.
These sure are good news concerning the fader caps.
Since the motor noise-issue is nearly gone with my replacement unit, I can live with that.

The only other thing is, that my unit is not recognized automatically, when I turn it on. It appears in the EUControl marked "*available*" but I have to add it manually to my workstation.
I already opened a support ticket and it went back and forth for several weeks, without any of the suggestions leading to success. That's why I stopped dancing this dance.
Nevertheless it is kind of annoying that I always have to fiddle in the EUControl if I want to use my unit. Maybe this can be fixed in a firmware update as well? Sure hope so.
I once had a really high opinion of Euphonix. You didn't do your reputation a favor with the MC Mix, I can tell you that much...

Ahh nice to hear that you're working on the issue! Is it possible to say about how long it will takte to release the fix?

If you need any beta-tester etc. feel free to ask

My dealer just called me and told me what the distributer said about the fader problem. He said more or less the same - that the problem is known, that it is firmware related and he said it is happening because there is a new fader generation (which have a higher/different resolution?!?) and so the firmware is trying to adjust the faders in a way which works for the old generation but is not the best for the new generation.

He said it should be done "in a few weeks" but also the dealer is not able to say how many weeks - so let us hope that it's going to be fixed asap and we're getting best out of our MC Mixes again :)

This release does not include the fader firmware fix for the jittering faders, as it's still being implemented and tested. We'll be updating this once we have more info on when a release can be expected to address that problem.
