Older TDM Hardware on Non-HD DAW
Hey all,
Studio I'm working at has a TDM system (2 192s and a 96, cards etc etc) running Mac 10.8.5 and PT 10HD (can't remember the version off the top of my head). Can I use the interfaces with other DAWs? Specifically, would the HD authenticated iLok at the studio let me use in I/O that the Avid hardware provides with a Native version of 11 or something like Logic through Core Audio? I want a test partition for some plugins that need 10.9 or later to see if they outdo the current workflow there. Searching hasn't resulted in finding the answer so far, hoping someone can drop some knowledge on my dumb self. Cheers all! |

Re: Older TDM Hardware on Non-HD DAW
For Logic or other DAWs you should be able to see 8 channels I/O I believe but Native Pro Tools will not see the hardware.
