Default Mbox2 Pro not connecting to firewire/10.6.7

Hey everyone, I am new to this forum and have a major issue. Apparently, I have my mac updates on automatic and it installed 10.6.7 from 10.6.6. My Mbox2 pro is not not being recognized by my computer now and I tried updating my 8.0.4 to 8.0.5 but still have had no success. I reinstalled pro tools from scratch and still nothing. I also reinstalled Snow Leopard to still find that my Mbox2 is not working. I thought maybe my port was bad so I used an external hard drive and it found it right away. I am totally lost, please help if possible.

Thank you

-Jake
