Default Multi HDMI Displays

• Will a generic HDMI Splitter or HDMI distribution-amplifier work with the System-Preferences 'Display Arrangement' with three independent HDMI displays? (NOT mirror the HDMI Port)
• I'll be switching between two or three computers and found a Avocent KVM Switch which features "Instant monitor, mouse and keyboard switching via emulation – zero delay when switching between systems".
• I currently run four displays: MacPro2013 ; ScreenSharing for G5 2012. It handles (1) HDMI and three from the TB ports with adapters with no issues ever.

Thanks in advance for any help!

Unlikely. It will probably function as mirror to all. The splitter is going to present a single screen to the OS. Of course, they're cheap and you could try it, but don't get your hopes up.

Thanks Nathaniel. Correct on the mirroring i.e …you need to use two ports from the computer for two HDMI displays to be independently recognized. Though pricey, the SV340H desktop KVM seems to be the solution (dual-monitor, four computer – $670) .

Best Regards,
