Default 8.1 Can you confirm a bug?

I/O setup: Default output bus: Out 1-2

When I create a new mono recording track, my track output is: Out 1-2
When I create a new stereo recording track, my track output is: Bus 1-2

Anybody else?

I believe you need to set a default output for mono and stereo tracks separately. Each type (mono or stereo) can have its own default.

Yes.

The same way you picked stereo out. Pick the mono out as well. First thing to do to any template.

Right, same pull down menu. You need to set a default for mono and a default for stereo

But the default for mono and stereo was both on Out 1-2 and I still get on new mono tracks: Out 1-2 and on stereo: Bus 1-2.

Donīt know what else to do...

I/O setups - Output tab. Change the MONO out to match the STEREO out. If you ALREADY CHANGED THE STEREO OUT default to Bus 1-2, you need to tell PT that you want the MONO tracks to also default to Bus 1-2.

Just setting stereo default output Bus 1-2 WON'T MAKE MONO TRACKS DEFAULT TO BUS 1-2!!!!!

@Sean: Both, stereo and mono are set in the default Output tab Out 1-2.
But when I create a new mono track it is Out 1-2 (which is what I set up) but when I create a new stereo track itīs always Bus 1-2 (which is not what I set in the Output tab).

Oh; my bad. I read your initial post wrong. I usually always go out a master bus before the 1-2 converter, so it made sense to me. Apologies.

I have no idea why it wouldn't work. Have you trashed your preferences yet?
