Waves plugins don't load in HD 10.3.8 after using HD 11.1

I have the latest version of Waves 9.2 (Gold bundle and some single plugins).
In Pro Tools HD 11.1 everything is fine and I see all Waves plugins.
But if I launch PT HD 10.3.8 there will be no Waves plugins at all unless I re-launch it with holding down the Shift key. By some reason Pro Tools always remember an incorrect choice ("don't use RTAS plugins" as well as "don't use TDM plugins" despite I have never checked these option (well I have checked "Don't use TDM" but never "don't use RTAS")
So I need to un-check "don't use RTAS plugins" and then all Waves will load fine.
But Pro Tools can't remember this choice anymore as it always did.
It seems that PT 11.1 erases some 10.3.8 preferences.
Anyone experiences this too?

Solved.

I trashed the preference (Waves ones).
Oh yeah….again preferences….didn't do it for a while ;-)

We have that exact aame thing with the uncheck rtas and tdm versions not remembered and how did you get it working? Dunno where waves prefs are located on our macs?

Easy ;-)
Hold down the option key press on Go (in finder) then go to: / Library / Preferences / Waves ---> just trash it and relaunch PT.
When launching PT, Waves will ask you to point to the Waves plug in folder.
It should be in Application / Waves / Plug-ins.
You will also see the known Waves "Don't use RTAS or TDM….e.t.c" pop up screen.
Choose what you need and this time it will remember your choice.
