Default Mac 10.10.2 released - approved?

Since it seems most of this update concerns Wi-Fi, is it approved for PT11?

No, it is not officially qualified yet. That doesn't mean it won't work with PT, but it is 'at your own risk' until Avid approves it.

I'm working OK with 10.10.1 so I'll wait until I get "official" word.

I updated by accident (the "You have 12 updates ready to be installed" button came up & I clicked it without thinking)

Everything is working fine for me.

This is weird. This page for drivers for the new Apogee interfaces say that 10.10.2 is approved for use with them. But Pro Tools 11.3 still hasn't been qualified.

Nothing weird about it. Apogee might have approved their driver for 10.10.2 but until Avid have approved their software for 10.10.2 you won't be getting full support.

The greatness of single vendor is that the sole authority says what can be used and what cannot. Mix and match, you need to skim through all vendors compatibility charts.

Janne is totally right.
From my own experience I can confirm that 10.10.2 with Apogee's latest driver is good to go with PT 11.3.x
The changes from OS X 10.10.1 -> 10.10.2 are marginal and should not touch Pro Tools 11.3.x.

Use a 2nd drive/partition to test this before you use it on your main drive!
