Lining up a movie with the Ruler
Hi there,
I wonder can anybody help me with my problem of lining up a movie with the Ruler. I've imported a movie that has time code visible on it. The time code starts about 20 seconds into the movie so it doesn't line up with the time code in the Ruler (which starts at the very left at zero). Is it possible to use the Trimmer to trim the start of the movie (does the Trimmer only work with audio) or is it possible to move the zero point of the ruler to the right so that the timeline starts less than zero (in my case at about -20 seconds)? I hope this makes sense, any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks, B. |

Re: Lining up a movie with the Ruler
Select the "Snap" tool, click on the video track and type in the time code where you would like the movie to start. Press enter and the movie should jump to the new TC. Good luck.
