Second HDD for PT project storage..mystery solved
For the longest time I could NOT get PT 6.1 or 6.1.1 to open a new project and save it on my D: drive. My system files and PT itself is on the C: drive and when I tried to save a project or even just the audio files ..ANYTHING on D: I kept getting "Assertion Errors"..then the computer would freeze up. I was making sure the DMA was selected and I did all the suggested tweaks..BUT...
I needed to convert BOTH disks C: and D: to the NTFS file system! After I did that..it works like a champ! Smooth, fast, and clean...that's the ticket!
