Can I put a 96 i\o analog card into a 192 i\o

Can I put a 96 i\o analog card into a 192 i\o

I realize this is a dumb question I was just wondering if anybody has tried it
And if it does work will it do 192k could they in fact be the same cards accept for the fact 96i\os are 1\4inch trs instead of DB-25 or what else there is
Id like to try but I wouldn't want to reck it
