Hi Dave....Try To set your Audio Interface as Core Audio....instead of Aggregate I/O.. and check again....

same thing with AIR delay ... after saving, reopening the session ... it stuck to 500 ms ...

The workaround is to set the tracks to READ instead of OFF, and write automation to the entire area. I can work with this, but there's no reason I shouldn't be able to work with automation set to OFF for a "set and forget" setting.

In fact automation OFF is really dangerous with this behavior.

I can still reproduce in READ with EQuick. Can you list the steps you're taking exactly that avoid the issue? Thanks!

In any case, this is now under investigation.

I just select the entire range on the track I want to affect and automation "Write to all enabled", making sure first that the settings are where I want them. After that, in READ it seems to work.

I haven't verified several times, but it worked after re-launching the session a couple of times here.
