Video engine issues seem to be gone. I've never seriously used PT for any midi or VI work ever. Always seemed like an exercise in futility. Anyone remember how awful midi was in PT 5? There are so many other daws out there that were midi based and are still light years ahead of PT in that regard. PT will never get it right.

I never remember the procedure, do I have uninstall 11.3 before installing 11.3.1, or do I just install it over the existing version?

They recommend uninstalling first.

Thanks for your reply, but I can't seem to find an uninstaller? Read it should be in Applications > Avid > Pro Tools but in my Avid-folder there's only Avid Virtual Instruments

Maybe I'll try going to 11.2.1 for Yosemite, otherwise I'm going to go back to testing on Mountain lion.
No problems here with Multiple VI's and Yosemite FYI.. Lot's of scoring this week. Have not seen the looping issue, but don't really to a lot of that in PT anyway.

Yes and I uninstalled the HD drivers also.. Repair Permssions before and after.

I ran good all day after upgrading from 11.3 to 11.3.1 and was on a deadline.. Had a clone of all however just in case-:) Tested on my laptop first and was impressed with quicker loads there.
Running Yosemite 10.10.2 also without a hitch. 11.3 seemed fine, but saw some fixes I thought might be worth the upgrade. Still more need to happen IMO, but probably won't see much until PT12 I am guessing..

Sounds like you are on Mac... there's no Uninstaller starting with 11.0 as it is a package - uninstalling is accomplished by dragging the Pro Tools 11.x app to the trash. 10.x and earlier had multiple files in various locations which is why an Uninstaller was needed.

Hi and thanks. Yeah, up until 11.3 it was just a drag-and-drop application, but since 11.3 it's the same as it's been before, with a complete installer.

Thank you Greg, how did you go about un-installing in OS X?

Yeah, I understand this is a bit confusing. It seems the same since there is an installer, but the installer was basically just used to deal with signing in OS X, it still just installs a package (everything's in the app). So uninstall of any version of PT 11 on Mac is accomplished by trashing the PT app.
