I had some problems running Pro Tools on my laptop (due to my laptop being a hunk o' junk) and it would load but everything had a "crackling noise" that would go off and on depending on the RAM required by Pro Tools. So if you have a system that isn't really up to specs you might have that same problem. It does not have any problems on my desktop
