The current playback engine does not support a sample rate of 44.1 khz
Im trying to open up sessions on ptmp 7.4 and just when the sessions is about to load an error pops up and says the current playback engine does not support a sample rate of 44.1khz could anybody help me

I am having the same trouble with windows and pro tools 8. I can not seem to find answer either. I have check my playback setup and options. Come on guys, someone must know the answer.

You guys using ANY external converters, or devices with SPDIF, or Optical out ?

This happens to me when I have Youtube up and try to start Pro-tools

Looks like an external device is controlling the clock. And it's not set to 44.1kHz.
