Dropped notes, sustain problems, random notes
Hello all,
I am using a Yamaha S80 synth through the new Avid Mbox 003. I am attempting to record a very basic piano piece using PT 8.0.4's "Mini Grand". My problem is that I occasionally get dropped notes and sometimes the sustain pedal doesn't seem to work (comes off too early or doesn't trigger at all). Earlier today, I also got a random note that just started playing way up high on the keyboard. So, I'm like WTF? I can't really run a recording session with these problems. Any advice for general MIDI troubleshooting? My OS is Mac OS X 10.6.6 on a brand new iMac, so I don't think it's anything major. Feedback is greatly appreciated, Marc
