Firewire copying problem
Everytime I try to copy files from my Firewire drive anywhere on my system, the drive dissappears in the middle of the copy and it informs me that I should eject the drive, otherwise files could be lost. It's dissappearing for some reason. I can't even save session copy in from the PT sessions that are on there. Does anyone know what this is? I've never experienced this before. The computer is a new dual 1.25 G4. Thanks.

Re: Firewire copying problem
check to see if there is a firmware update for your FW drive. This is consistent with the issues being reported from the older firmware in oxford based FW drives (version 1.04 or later is safe).

Re: Firewire copying problem
Where can I find the firmware update for this? The case is a Startech. Thanks.
