Default Multiple Plug-ins missing in 7.4.2....

Started Pro Tools LE on my new Quad core, 10.5.4...a few plug-ins are missing, including T-Racks EQ, and the de-eeser. I was able to update a couple of my Isotope programs, and they come up fine. I download the latest leopard update for T-Racks (1.3), but it still doesn't come up in my Plug-ins list.

I changed machines from my old 1.8 GHz...not sure if I went about it wrong. I did the migration at first, but later uninstalled Pro Tools on my new machine, and started with the old 6.x disk, then upgraded to 7.4.2 from there...I guess during that phase, some of the plug-ins (of course the only one's I pretty much use) didn't make it through.

Should I uninstall Pro Tools and go through the process again?
Or is there a process I'm missing, other than updating T-Racks....?

thanks
Ruzzo

Did you look in the Unused Plug-ins folder?
Library->Application Support->Digidesign->Plug-ins(Unused)

Make sure you have the Intel/UB versions of those plug-ins installed. If you have older, Power-PC plug-ins installed, they will not show up in Pro Tools.

Check your DigiRack Plug-ins Guide.pdf for information on how to use the De-Esser, which is part of the Dynamics III plug-in. From the guide:
Quote:
Dynamics III
Dynamics III provides three modules:
  • Compressor/Limiter
  • Expander/Gate
  • De-Esser
All Dynamics III modules are available in TDM, RTAS, and AudioSuite formats.
If you registered T-Racks, you should be able to login to your support account at www.ikmultimedia.com/userarea and download the v1.3 installer again, as well as your authorization information.

I did that recently for mine, and the version that shows up in my Plug-ins folder is named "TRackS1.xEQ.dpm" version 1.3. My own system is Tiger, so I haven't tested it on Leopard personally.

Thank you for your replies. First time back getting a hand on this problem, and it's still a problem.

I've downloaded the new version...got the authorization. I see the new TRacks EQ there, but when I bring up my older files, it still looks for the other/older TRackS EQ with all of my mixing settings, and says it's missing....

Is there anything I may be missing?
