Default Swapping out PC

Well after running pro tools on my only computer...and loading that with iTunes and 5000+ songs, Age of Empires, and not to mention an obscene amount of porn, I finally decided to break down and buy a new comp to dedicate solely to PT. Is there an issue with loading the software on a different PC or can I simply put the disc in and load it? Also I was kinda thinking since I am at this point, maybe i should upgrade the software...am running 6.4 right now so maybe I should purchase 6.9 fo $75 and just load that instead, since if I understand correctly, it is a complete version and I would not need to have anything loaded and can do a clean install. Just kinda looking for some opinions from some of ya.
