PT9 missing ASIO drivers !!! and error opening old sessions. Please help!
1. I have a digi 003 rack and I have done a full install of PT9 plus the new 003 rack drivers installation from avid (which weren't there yesterday) and it's not installing any ASIO drivers for the device. I can see the dll files in "C:\Program Files (x86)\Digidesign\Drivers\Digidesign 003 Rack Driver Disk" but the drivers installation is not creating any registry keys to list the asio drivers.
Any workaround? (win7 64 bits) I need to use cubase. 2. I'm getting some errors in PT9 when I try to load some PT8 sessions and I can't open them. "Could not complete the Open Session... command because the Assertion in "..\StudioMgr\SMgr_DelayMgr.cpp", line 3484." Anybody else having this problem? Any help much appreciated. |

Try loading ASIO4ALL.

Well.. ASIO4ALL doesn't work. cubase pauses every sec or so. so I get sound in hops.
Anybody else? DTS maybe? |

You need the latest windows 7 drivers. I had the same problems. E-mail me [email protected] and i'll e-mail them to you.
Uninstall any drivers you have for digidesign, delete you pro tools preferences and databases before you install them then turn your digi 003 hardware off Install the drivers reboot, then turn on the digi rack and it'll see the correct drivers and automatically install them... you probably have 3 or 4 drivers on top of each other like i did... |

You could try going to the Device Manager, right clicking on the 003 and selecting 'update driver'.
If that doesn't work, uninstall all Avid drivers and Pro Tools, restart, then install Pro Tools (with your hardware off) and the proper drivers (linked below), restart and launch again. http://www.avid.com/drivers |

Re: PT9 missing ASIO drivers !!! and error opening old sessions. Please help!
What drivers would I install into Windows 7 to access our Accel3 HD TDM / 192 system? (Our PT license is Mac but we dual boot and need to route system audio to 192).
