XPand Help

Hi

Newbee here, i wonder if anyone can help.
I'm Using Xpand in an Instrument track using PC Keyboard & Mouse. Whenever I create a note with the pencil tool or use the mouse cursor to play a note on the keyboard in the Midi Editor, not only do i hear the sound of the selected instrument but i get an annoying synth sound / buzz.

I've tried changing Xpand settings but nothing seems to help

This is driving me crazy

Any ideas
