i see alot of people are using the KT266A or AMD761 chipsets. i'm new so bare with me. i thought that the KT133A is the only AMD suppported chipset, is KT266A supported as well with just a faster thru-put? and in regards to the 761, i know this isn't supported, but people seem to be using it anyways. There aren't any problems with your digi001's and this chipset??

how do they compare to the KT133A.

What happens when stuff goes wrong, does digi help?

I use the Asus a7m266 wich has the amd761 chipset. I have a promise controller and consistantly get 24 plus 12 aux on the davec test before the machine bogs down. If you ask me the amd chipset rocks!

hey. as far as i can tell, the K133 is the only one they have tested extensively. i'm using the Kt266a and a 1.4ghz Tbird and haven't had a single problem yet. couldn't really say anything else, other than it works for me.

can i ask you if you use a promise controller and how many tracks do you get...the regular 24/8?

if so, would you recommend it?
