S3L Channel Control: User Asignment - On Of Switches?

Hello,
I am not sure if I am missing something, but when assigning controls to the user section of the channel control I want to make an assignment over all 16 encoders, the first 12 with EQ and the last four with the basic controls of Gate and Compressor.

But why isn't it possible to switch the comp on/of for example with the "in" switch of the corresponding encoder?
Or make it possible to make user assignments to the switches independent of the encoder?

I suppose that is just how it is programmed. I would also love to be able to select what parameters of plugin control appear on the first page when you activate plugin encoder control.

Although as I understand Avid wants to keep the IN buttons assigned to the direct functionality of that given parameter, I think the IN switch of lets say Comp or Gate Threshold would make perfect sense to work as an IN switch for the given dynamics processor. You might want to add the request to Venue Ideascale.

Maybe a complete free assignment would be to much, you are right kristo.

But the idea of switching the comp or gate in/out is really what I want.
Also the same functionality on the EQ as in the dedicated EQ page where the freq. encoder switches to Q would be nice to have on the user page.

I a dreaming of a layout like this:
Enc.1 LowGain
Enc.2 LowFreq-Q
Enc.3 LMid Gain
Enc.4 LMid Freq-Q
Enc.5 HMid Gain
Enc.6 HMid Freq-Q
Enc.7 High Gain
Enc.8 High Freq-Q
Enc.9 Comp Trhs ( including on of on the "In" button)
Enc10. Comp Ratio
Enc11. Comp Attack-Release ( also switchable )
Enc.12 Gate Thrs ( again with on of functionality )
Enc.13 Gate Range
Enc.14 Gate Attack-Release ( again switchable )
Enc.15 Aux Send
Enc.16 Aux send

That way I could have almost complete Chanel control without having to bank around between pages.

The SEL switch by the EQ's Freq knob will switch it to Q (Width),

My custom User Layout is usually

Gate Release

It would be lovely to have the Comp Threshold and Gate threshold IN keys function such to turn on those two.
