2.6.1 RME totalmix control still broken

Try deleting everything in the EuCon System Preference panel, restarting, then re-add the HUI setup. That usually will fix it.

Hi,

Thank you for your suggestion but nothing change. I deleted all in the preference panel, put applications again, select Mackie Control restart two times...
RME Totalmix doesn't work at all and the Fireface Mixer receive information of Logic tracks and doesn't work either.
So it's possible to re-install 2.5.6 and return to the old firmware, waiting for new release that solve this problem? Sorry but I bought the MC Mix not only to work with ProTools or Logic!!

I think I got that one, at least on a mac

Seems like there's something wrong with "HD/Library/Preferences" folder permissions, that prevent Eucon prefpane to save configuration files. Try this:

1) "get info" your "HD/Library/Preferences" folder and change permissions to allow "everyone r+w" and then restart;

2) Open Eucon prefpane, drag and drop totalmix(or fireface mix, if you have FF800/400) and change from "HUI" to "Mackie Control" and restart.

I know that allow everyone r+w permissions on preference folder is probably not the "right way" to fix it, but it will allow you to save your config while Apple and\or Avid iron out that nasty bug.

This worked for me on Windows. inthe control panel, Which the protocol from HUI to Mackie Control. Working great now. One question, Is their a way to define which faders are the first, just for RME on not globally? I have a control as the 1st controller, and a mix as the second and the 8 faders in totalmix are spread out between the control and the first 4 of the mix. Which isn't working out for me very well.
