Default PT 9 support for Line6 GuitarPort

Does Pro Tools 9 support the Line6 GuitarPort as an interface? I didn't see it on the interface list but I didn't know if anyone owned one and is running PT 9 using the device.

There's no reason why it shouldn't work. There's a newer software app for it found here:

http://line6.com/guitarport/xt.html

If you're not sure, you can always email or call them.

I'm running Pro Tools 9 with a UX2 Toneport and it works very well.

I tested with a Pod X3 on a win7 64 and that worked as well.

Yes, I just got a GuitarPort, damn thing works.

So later that day...two GC Gift Cards from the sisterinlaws and a Guitarport on clearance, this mofo shows up as the sound engine in Pro Tools 9. I don't know why this amuses me so much, I guess because I have a HD rig and then this works. Sounds good, not really hearing latency to complain about at 64 samples & if I played anything worth a sh*t while plugged into it I'd keep it. Great travel rig though...for screwing around or scratch guitars. To me there ain't alot of difference between some POD sounds & some Eleven sounds. Anyway...Guitarport as a interface with PT....whoda thunk
