Well, there once was a suitable website for a brand called Digidesign. The rebranding doesn't work for the customer so far.
Sad...
That pretty much sums it up.

just tried to register for the support page. I actually was not intending on looking for anything in particular at this moment but figured I might as well register now so when I need something the frustration wont kick in with the registration process.

the web form wouldn't let me select a state.

then I hit submit and got an error saying I needed to input the country. . but that was clearly visible as I had already selected United States.

then i re selected the same country. and was able to select state (even though that field is was not required.)

then I got an error upon submitting the form.

Dcommand I agree with you. Really difficult to find infos on the avid website.... Often links are redundant and you have to do too many clicks to get the desired destination.. I've participated at the online survey for the usability of the website and wrote what's my opinion about it! Do the same!

I just tried to find the Pro Tools HD 8.1cs1 Update for Mac OS X.

It took me nearly ten minutes, wading through god knows how many pages.

Atrocious website design and navigation. Simply atrocious.

What really freaks me out is half the time I end up on a page where half of the text is German and the other half is English.
